Thank you for your message and your video!

In the knowledge organizer, all knowledge items are sorted alphabetically by their core statement. This cannot be changed.

However, you can change the sorting for the knowledge items within a certain category (you have already found the chapter in our manual).

Could you please explain in more detail what your aim is in inserting the knowledge items chronologically by the year of their references in Word?

Subject goes historically. but i put references mix into Citavi.

so i have to sort all of the citiation by reference time in word.

it is difficult that sorting by time

Hi Mehmet,

Please first create a backup of your project as the changed sorting of knowledge items cannot be reverted.

After that, please follow these steps:

1) Choose the correct sorting in the reference manager.

2) Assign all your knowledge items to a new category just for sorting purposes. Your catagories you have assigned before to the knowledge items will not be changed.

3) Select the new category in the knowledge organizer and click Knowledge items > Sort > Knowledge items in the current category > Sort by: Quotations by reference as sorted in the Reference Editor, then thoughts by modification date.
