Problem with template conditions

Need Answer

Dear Citavi team!

I have an issue with some template conditions in the Citation Style Editor. I've edited a citation style and then added few templates including two with Consecutive citations. But when I try to test it via word-add nothing happens. The reference remains as it was earlier.

Could you help me with it?

Best regards,

Maksim

If it is a Citavi-supplied style, editing it will create a copy, distinguished by the word "copy" at the end, which you will need to select in lieu of the original style in the Word AddIn.

Thank you! Of course I've done it. All improvements I've made in citation style works correctly in the Word Add-in except template conditions.

Dear Maksim,

Please make sure that the template conditions are in the correct order, see manual.

Dear Jana,

thank you! Now I'am starting to understand how it works.

By the way could you please explain me how to set conditions for following case?

At the first footnote there is a reference. At the next footnote there is a citation (from the same book). In my citation style the second footnote should contain only the name of the author, then some equivalent of "idem" and citation page range. For example:

Adler M. How to read a book. 1972.

Id. p.150.

Thanks in advance.

Best,

Maksim

Dear Maksim,

Thank you for your reply and further questions.

How to add a abbreviation like "ibid.", we explain here in our manual.

To also display the cited pages, please add the component "Quotation page range" after the new "ibid." component in the new template.

Kind regards

Jana
