Picker crash after updating Chrome

Dear Citavi team,
I recently updated my Chrome to the latest version, Version 72.0.3626.81 (Official Build) (64-bit). Immediately after that, the picker stopped working and an error window popped up (said "Citavi Picker has crashed. Click this balloon to reload this extension"). However, it won't tick after reload. I tried multiple times and even tried the repair option. There might be something in the latest Chrome conflicting with the picker extension, I guess. Hope you guys could take a look at this issue.

The same problem
Dear Jana,
I forgot to report the Citavi version I used, which was Citavi 5, when the picker crashed. I just updated to the latest Citavi 6 to avoid unbearable bugs in Citavi 5. After that, I try reloading the pick extension and it works! Several other Citavi 5 users I knew encountered the same crashed picker issue. I suggest them update to Citavi 6 as well. Hope this information could be helpful.

Thank you for your message.
With the same Chrome version I could not reproduce the problem.
Could you please unistall the Chrome Picker via the Citavi Setup and add the Picker again by going to the Picker page in the Chrome Web Store?

Still, unfortunately, the Picker crashed after I disabled all other extensions.
Is it possible for me to record what happens either in my OS or Chrome when the Picker crashes, anything can help you guys locate the problem?

At the moment, I can only ask you for your patience.
In a few weeks we will publish a new version of the Citavi Picker for Chrome.
Please let us know if the problem still occurrs after we have published the new version.
In the meantime, you could use the browser Firefox in case this is an option for you.
