Make font in knowledge window bigger?

Need Answer

Is there a way I can make the font in the knowledge window bigger? I am using this window a lot and it is straining my eyes.

I use version 6.3.15.0 through Parallels. On MacOs applications one can just click on (Command / + ) to have the apps' text increase in size. I have tried the Magnifier in Windows but it is very clunky.

This is why I am hoping there is way to change the font size from within Citavi.

Dear Serena,

Thank you for your question.

If you change the size in Windows, it will also change in Citavi.

In the windows 10 display settings, there is a setting labled "Change the size of text, apps, and other items".

If you are using another Windows version, search for "DPI" display setting options.

Kind regards,

Jana

Hi Jana,

Thank you for your prompt response. I had tried before writing but it does not work. As soon I resize the Citavi window, it goes back to the regular size:

Now I resize the window:

Hi Serena,

Thank you for your screenshots.

Did you already close and reopen Citavi?

Kind regards,

I am not 100% sure of what you mean exactly. I will try to answer:

I did not close and reopen Citavi between Screenshot 2 and 3, I just tried to resize the window.

Do you mean that I should have closed and reopened it for the changes to go into effect permanently?

Thank you,

Serena

Dear Serena,

Yes, please close Citavi after your changes in the Windows settings.

If you start Citavi again, are your changes visible now?

Kind regards

Jana

Unfortunately the changes are not visible after I start Citavi again:

Dear Serena,

Please also restart Windows on your Mac.

Hi Jana,

Restarting Windows did not work (the scaling was back to 100%) BUT then I did the following:

- set the scaling again to 125%

- When asked "Fix apps that are blurry?" I selected explicitly NO, then APPLY

- The app looked a bit more stable, but it was still reverting to 100% when resized. Then I again shifted to 125%, and now I opened "Coherence" view in Parallels, and now it finally looks stable.

- For anybody else following this, to be able to change the scaling in the first place when using Parallels, you need to pick the "scaled" option on Bootcamp:
