Hi,

so I want to include the pages I am referring to in the books also to be included in my Bibliography. How do I do that? I added a custom field to my citavi 6 input field which I namend "pages", but this field is not automatically shown in the Bibliography output.

An Example: (APA style)

Current Output: Higgins, B. H. (1949). Lombard Street in War and Reconstruction. New York: Financial Research Program National Bureau of Economic Research.

Desired Output: Higgins, B. H. (1949). Lombard Street in War and Reconstruction. New York: Financial Research Program National Bureau of Economic Research. pp. 15, 19

I entered the "pp. 15, 19" in citavi in the custom field i talked about. So, how do I include the custom field in the Biblio output?

Thank you and kind regards,

Timo

Hi Timo,

Thank you for your message.

A Harvard style like APA does include the cited pages in the in-text reference.

Therefore, the long list of cited pages in the whole document will never be included in the bibliography.

Please edit your citation style to add the field "Custom field 1" to all templates of the rule set Bibliography of all your cited docuement types.

This screenshot displays the steps for the reference type "Book".

Please save the changes you have made to your style and also select it in your Word document.

Kind regards,

Jana

Thanks a lot Jana! Ok, maybe I thought of including all the pages because I saw some APA citation where they put a page in the biblio as well (maybe because they only referenced one specfic page from the book). I have them in the Text as well.

Hi Timo,

Thanks for your reply.

The cited pages in the reference suffice. Could you please post a link to the publication in APA with cited pages in the bibliography?

Kind regards

Jana
