How can you make a citation several times on one page without having duplicated sources?

Federico D. shared this question 12 months ago

While adding my citation on one page (using footnotes) I always get duplicated sources while using the same citation on one page. How can I find a way to this in order to show only the source citation on the footnotes once with several footnotes numbers, but not duplicated citation sources? please see the example attached.

Thank you in advance.

Dear Federico,

Thank you for your question.

You could either insert the reference only once for the paragraph or use a citation style that applies abbreviations, e.g. "ibid." in the following footnotes like "Turabian, 8tn ed. (Notes)".

Kind regards,
