Can the label in the navigation pane display a few more lines of information? I saw a screenshot in the Citavi Chinese forum (first picture). The label in the navigation pane has five lines of information (first picture), but I only have three lines (second picture). Can I customize it? Such as showing the journal name or rating.

Dear Ronghao,

Thank you for your message.

By default, you cannot change the information displayed in the reference list. However, this suggestion is already included in our internal wish list for our developers.

The table view could also be of use for you.

The two more lines in you screenshot display the BibTeX citation key and the citation key required by certain citation styles.

If you do work with Word and you do not use a style which uses the citation key functionality (you would see a hint on the right side when adding the style), please follow this workaround to display more information:

1) Click Tools > Options > Citation and tick "Citation key support" > Customize citation keys

2) Click "Default" and choose the field "Periodical".

3) Click "Apply" and "Ok" and choose to "Generate new citation keys for all references".

The name of the journal will now show up in the reference list.

Kind regards

Jana
