Automatically attempt to identify DOI from URL

I just imported the article openly available as PDF at https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.1177/1747493017743796, but Citavi has no clue of its obvious DOI or its type (article).
Sometimes the DOI isn't part of the PDF's URL. But sometimes it is. Could it then be automatically fetched/parsed from the URL?
PS: I have no idea how to categorize or tag this idea here in the forum.

I've just downloaded the PDF file from the URL you mentioned and dragged and dropped it onto the Citavi list of references. The metadata is added automatically:
