"a Generic error occured in GDI+"

Hallo everyone! I have been facing a error message when opening citavi a coupe of days. It says " a Generic error occured in GDI+". I have tried to reinstall and install citavi, but I could not fix the error yet. As you might see in the attached picture, a crossed red line is covering my list of references and I could not see them when I have to chose or click on top of an article. I can see the text of the documents on the text display on the right side of the screen, but I found it very inconvenient and annoying. I tried to contact citavi for help, I did not receive any response. Please you swift help is needed.
