Internal error when creating the list

I opened Citavi6 today but found that I couldn't open any of the files attached to the references. An internal error has been reported: "The internal message is: Win32 handle that was passed to Icon is not valid or is the wrong type." I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Citavi, but this didn't work.
I submitted a Tickets but didn't get s quick response. I really needed to continue my research so I restarted my computer and this problem did not appear. I don't know why but next time I will try restarting my laptop. This post is for others who are experiencing similar problems.
