Citavi freezing when using the picker

Hi, I keep having the issues where citavi is freezing when I trying an export references from Google scholar. I am using firefox and citavi version 6.11
In addition when i tried to open up a work document to save a screenshot of my reference tree, word would not open up.
When i close the program using task manager and reopen it, I find I have lost data.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong???
