How do you add comments within a footnote?
Answered
In writing my dissertation, occasionally I want to add my own comments in a footnote, because they are tangential to the text that was quoted in the body, but add more information. This is common in academia, but I can't find how it can be done while using Citavi with Word. If I manually add anything to a footnote, it doesn't "stick" and will disappear at the next update.
Hi, Rebecca
You can always add additional text to a footnote as long as you make sure it is outside the field (content control) inserted by Citavi.
