Citavi web doesn't open pdfs

Dear Citavi-team,

I am using citavi web since yesterday, but it doesn't open pdfs, instead it only shows a grey screen. I am using a mac and a chrome browser, I've tried it in normal and incognito mode. Other users seem to be experiencing the same problem.

It would be great if you could look into that!

I have the same issue. We are trying to work as a team in Citavi web but none of the pdfs is opening. Could you, please, check it?

Same issue over here. This is so much easier to look at and more user friendly than other platforms, as well as more powerful. I'd really like to use this but right now I can't because of the gray screen of doom.

Hey Sebastian,

When will the problem be solved? Within a week or within months? This is important to us, because of our exam deadlines. If you say it will take a few weeks, we all need to switch to another program. Sadly we don't have that much time to wait.

Hi Sebastian,

it is still not working and I am waiting for more than a month now (without acceptable answers). If this is not fixed by the end of this week I will tell my university to get their money back and look for a reliable system (which Citavi was by the way some months ago).

Please do something or at least give a timeline so we know whether this is worth the wait. It is hard enough to work on some projects and we put a lot of trust in Citavi to work fine with our data so if it doesn't work there are severe consequences for us in relation to deadlines.

Please, for once, take this seriously!

Hey,

the issue is still not fixed and is highly blocking. If you use any prioritization for your bug fixes, this should be ranked with the highest one. Without PDFs opening, the whole software is unusable.

I can only agree to everyone else. We're encountering the problem now for almost a month. I'm preparing my switch to another platform.

Sciwheel , flowcite, nxr are very good options,

The NEW Company that owns citavi clearly don’t have the same profesional and quality parameters

The citavi web subscription is not the cheapest one. I do have to pay the full amount, I‘m not a student anymore. But since weeks we can not use citavi web anymore - see the grey box instead of the PDF content.


I’m seriously thinking about talking to a lawyer to check legal actions/next steps.


We all do pay for a product which can not be used!?


CITAVI-Team WAKE UP!

You don’t seem to be aware about the mouth-to-mouth propaganda (which in your case is not positive anymore) … I would not recommend your product (and service) anymore as I did in the past.
