Hello,

I am having a problem to login in my software 6.11.

On the website I am logged in and my license is working well. However, I cannot login on the software desktop, I tried to install again and other options and until now nothing is working.

When I tried to access my project I have a message saying that my project is not allowed with my license, but I cannot even login there. (I was working on it untill Wednesday and nothing like this happened before.)

When I tried to login, a page is openned on the website which says that will go back to the softwate, but it does not happen.

Someone is facing the same problem or has some solutions?

I could do my login now, but I had to use the 6.8 version. Maybe it will be useful for you as well.

I have used Citavi for two years. But for 4 months in particular, it is really poor! Support isn't even available!

Well I have been using Citavi since Citavi 5. It was great, I even wrote a paper on how to use it to conduct systematic review. Since Citavi 6, support is non existent. I have not received a single reply from them.

Citavi has been bought by QSR international. It's probably only going to go down the drain from now...Either abandonned, or "merged" with a bloated version of Citavi+Nvivo. I'm looking at other options...

There are great reference managers like Zotero, and great "knowledge item"/snippet based note-taking and drafting apps like Zettlr (open source) and Scrivener which allow you to categorize content. But I haven't found a single one which allows what Citavi allows in such a perfectly integrated way...

After a bit of reserach, I think the most promising path at the moment is Obsidian, with plugins such as Citation and Annotation. With a few other plugins, and provided I can find the right workflow, it should be able to replicate 90% of citavi. + You have complete control of your files in markdown, and can have additional drafting funcionalities (similar to Scrivener, with the Longform plugin), and advanced graph functionalities (with the Juggl plugin).

Have you checked alternatives? Thre are many reference management software. But, note taking is one of the significant reason to use Citavi.

Apart from installing Citavi 6.8...

Are there any other options how to solve this issue? It is really urgent, as I need to hand in my PhD thesis...

I found a workaround:

1) Export from CitaviWeb: https://help.citavi.com/en/knowledge-base/article/using-citavi-web

2) Export as RIS

3) Open new project on Citavi Desktop App (no cloud project)!

4) Import RIS file

5) Link Wordfile with new (=old) project

My problem is that I don't even get to the CITAVI web. Once I click on one of my projects, it brings me to the welcome to my citavi account website.

Same probleme here, I just installed Citavi 6.11 and tried to log in with my uni account. After that a page show up which told me to press login button in Citavi desktop and wait until I'm logged in. Yet nothing happens after 15 minutes 868193cc7dbd7c73d862932945e4651b
