Citavi Reference Pane not working in word

Hello.
I had troubles with citavi not picking from my word document last week, so I went to the forum and learned that I could uninstall and reinstall the add-in, and I was finally able to add it correctly. However, the add-in is available in Word, but my references are not being loaded by the reference panel. I've tried everything and it's still not working.
Your help will be much appreciated.
