word plugin categories expand default--why?

When using the word plugin, I usually keep Citavi on the Categories (References) tab because I use categories to organize various writing projects within a larger master database. If I add a new reference to any given category within the Citavi interface, however, the word plugin refreshes by expanding all the categories. Though I can obviously right-click and collapse all again, its a major nuance to be focused and then have all the other categories (in my case references separate writing projects) on full display again every time I want to modify what references are assigned to any given category. Can this be fixed? Is there no way to refresh without essentially reloading and expanding the references tab within the word-plugin?
