Cant select text on iOS

Hi. I am just giving Citavi Web a try as a mobile app alternative on iPad. I can open the PDFs fine but I can seem to be able to select text, hence add annotations. When I try to select text, the selection bar appears at the bottom left corner, outside the document with two options: Copy and Lookup, I think.
