Importing XML (OPUS BSZ) or XLSX

Need Answer

Hi,

I wanted to know how to import an XML (OPUS BSZ) file (exported from a Citavi project of a friend) or, conversely, how to set up an excel that may be imported?

It is very important that the export and import include custom fields that were filled.

Thank you

Hi Eugene,

Thanks for your message.

The easiest option would be to ask your friend for his Citavi project so that you can import the references in your Citavi project.

The XML OPUS BSZ export is a designated export for the German repository software OPUS which Citavi can only export, not import.

We explain here how to import an XLSX Excel file.

Kind regards,

Jana

Thanks, would there be a ready made spreadsheet that uses the same header terms as offered on the XLSX import?

Also, is there a technical possibility for XML OPUS BSZ to be imported? Or, is there an underlying issue.

Thanks

Hi Eugene,

We unfortunately do not have a ready made spreadsheet, you would have to set the header information and desired fields in Citavi yourseld.

I am sorry but we cannot offer new import filters. We explain here how to create them yourself.

Kind regards,

Jana
