Brazilian Style for in text citation
Answered
Hello!
I have a custom citation style for Brazilian ABNT rules, but i cant accomplish a way to set the following rules:
Plain case when citation is like: Author (Year)
All Caps when citation is like: (AUTHOR, Year)
i've created a rule based on parentheses , but it seems when i change the rule, it reflects also on other rules (including the default), and both stays all caps or small caps
Hello!
Any thoughts about that?

Hello,
If different templates in the style use the same component (in this case: author), changes will affect all templates. To format a component differently, you would have to duplicate it: https://www1.citavi.com/sub/manual6/en/index.html?cse_creating_new_components.html
You wrote "i've created a rule based on parentheses", maybe you could upload your style to check this. You can find the ccs-file of your style in the folder "Custom Citation Styles" at Documents/Citavi6/Custom Citation Styles.
Best regards,
Anne
