Citavi Picker incorrectly picks British Date

My Chrome runs on an en-GB locale. Every time when the picker 'adds webpage as reference', the access date is transferred to Citavi in the British dd/mm/yyyy format. I understand from the manual that Citavi cannot parse British dates properly. As such, may I ask if is there a way I can configure the Picker so that the transferred dates are always consistent with the reference editor?
