Hello All,

Is there any option to convert citavi placeholders to something recognizable by Endnote software?

Hi Masoud,

Thanks for your question.

We offer an option to convert EndNote fields to Citavi fields.

To continue working with EndNote, please contact EndNote support.

Kind regards,

Jana

Hello Jana,

Thanks for the reply. But I need to convert Citavi fields to Endnote fields.

If it is not possible with Citavi V6, it is a really bad drawback.

Hi Masoud,

I am sorry that you are not happy with Citavi and would like to continue working with EndNote.

Please ask the colleagues at EndNote which options they can offer you for an easy start.

There is always the option to convert your Citavi references to plain text.

Kind regards,

Jana

Hello Jana,

The problem is that I love working with Citavi and these are my colleagues that work with Endnote. As you know this application (Endnote) is very well known and I can not ask them to change their attitude because of me. So there should be crosstalk between these applications. It was available in Citavie 5 and now it is removed. To me, it is a downgrade.

I hope it can be resolved in future versions.

Hi Masoud,

I had a look at the Clarivate support website and could not finde a solution there, either.

As we offer a feature to convert EndNote to Citavi fields, you could be the last one in the workflow of your team.

I have added your suggestion to our internal list for future features.

Kind regards,

Jana

Hi Masoud,

Thanks for your friendly reply.

Please note that this feature has never been available (also not in Citavi 5).

Kind regards,

Jana
