same author of the contribution and parent reference

Hi!

1. How should I set the author settings to avoid repetition of the author in a citation where I cite a contribution in a collected work?

For example, instead

Louis Bouyer, „Mystère”, in: Louis Bouyer, Dictionnaire théologique, Paris, Edit. Desclée, 1963

I need

Louis Bouyer, „Mystère”, in: Idem, Dictionnaire théologique, Paris, Edit. Desclée, 1963

AND

2. If I cite different contribution of the same parent reference, I need to avoid repetition of the parent ref. an to use citation key instead.

What rule should I set for this? I tried different rules but I gave up.

Thanks!

Gherasim

Dear Gherasim,

Thanks for your questions.

1) Author of a contribution is also editor or author of the compilation or collected work (id., eid)

To replace the name of the author of the collected work with "Idem", please add this script to the author component. The description of the script including instructions can be found here.

Please follow the steps described in our manual:

https://www1.citavi.com/sub/manual6/en/index.html?cse_programmable_components.html

Step 5: Instead of opening a file, simply replace the existing code with the code above (you can copy & paste it via Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V). Then click Compile. As long as no error messages are displayed, click Save.

2) Different contribution of the same parent reference

Please choose one of the following conditions:

  • Additional child references in the same parent reference are also cited
  • An additional child reference was already cited in bibliography
  • Parent reference or another child reference was already cited in bibliography

Best regards

Susanne
