edit Place of publication

Hi.
It should be possible to create a tab in Lists menu to edit Place of publication field, as we can do with Persons or Publishers?
Because I have a lot of misspelled Place of publication, and they appear in the list of reference tab when I add new reference. And it is a bit annoying.
