C999 - Unknown error

Hello,


I am using the current version. C999 I encountered an unknown error. When I try to attach a PDF, it says "Could not add attachment. International message: Access denied."


I proceeded over the "% localappdata% \ Swiss Academic Software \ Citavi 6 \" suggested in the previous questions. but now it doesn't open with the error "An error occurred" when accessing pre-existing files.


How should I proceed?

You had also asked this question by e-mail. I asked you to send me more information about your PC. As I have not received an answer so far, I have to try to answer "blindly".

The problem maybe caused by your Avast Antivirus Scanner. Please follow these steps:


  1. Open the Avast Antivirus user interface and select ☰ menu ▸ Settings.
  2. Make sure that the General tab is selected.
  3. Click on "Exceptions".
  4. Click "Add exception".
  5. Click on "Browse".
  6. Type check box: %localappdata%\Swiss Academic Software\Citavi 6\ProjectCache to go to the ProjectCache folder.
  7. Click on "Add exception".
