The Picker does not recognize open projects

The Picker appears. When you try to transfer results to Citavi, you see a message that no Citavi project is currently open.


Repair your Citavi installation:

  1. Close Citavi.
  2. Switch to the Windows Control Panel.
  3. Select Uninstall a program.
  4. Select Citavi 6.
  5. Click Change.
  6. The Citavi 6 Setup Assistant starts. Click Next.
  7. Select Repair and then click Next to begin the repair process.

In the Chrome browser you will also need to click Enable extension:

You can also enable the extension later on:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. In the upper right corner, click the More menu More and then More tools and then Extensions.
  3. Move the slider to the right to enable the Citavi Picker extension.
