(Citavi 5 only) When opening a project in Citavi's Word Add-In you receive a notification that the project is being loaded. However, after loading has completed, the notification window does not disappear. You are not able to select and add titles and knowledge items to your document.
Background
This issue only occurs when using Windows 10 and a specific version of Word, belonging to MS Office 2016.
Solution
Please follow these steps when opening your document:
- Close Citavi and Word.
- Start Citavi, open your project and wait until it has been fully loaded.
- Open the Word document that you want to edit by double clicking the file in the Windows File Explorer.
