  • Summarize your question in the subject line of your email. For example, "Bibliography not sorted alphabetically".
  • For technical problems: In your Citavi project, click Help > Send support information. Please copy this information and send it to us with your question or bug report.
  • For citation style questions: Specify the exact name of the citation style you are using as it appears in the Word Add-In. If you are using a custom citation style, send us the style file, which you can find here: \Documents\Citavi 6\Custom Citation Styles\
  • A screenshot is worth a thousand words! Here's how you can create a screenshot in Windows 10: Press and hold WIN+PrtScn (or PrintScreen). The screenshot will be automatically saved in the folder This PC > Pictures> Screenshots.

Post your question in the Citavi User Forum. The Citavi community is very active and often will help with your questions on the weekend as well.

By telephone or chat?

We do not offer telephone or chat support. Our experience has shown that we're usually able to resolve support questions quicker via email.
