When I start Citavi, the splash screen with the progress bar appears, but then nothing more happens.
This problem can occur if Windows is not able to report the path to the Documents folder. We wrote a small test tool to test the path to Documents, if you are asked to do so by Citavi technical support.
Download and unzip MyDocumentsTestTool.zip. Open the program, then click Display path to Documents. Normally, the path is displayed. If Windows cannot report the path, the program will create a detailed error log.
