Question
I have multiple Citavi projects that have many references in common. This begs the question: would it make sense to just put them all in one Citavi project and categorize them there?
Answer
Fundamentally, you can work with Citavi in two ways:
- Working on a single publication (one Citavi project for one publication)
Some users like to create a separate project for each publication and to use Citavi's categories to structure each individual publication. - Working on multiple publications on the same topic (one Citavi project for multiple publications)
Some users like to work with one comprehensive project containing all of their references. They often use Citavi's categories to organize the references within the project into subtopics. Alternatively, keywords can be used to identify all references belonging to a particular publication.
